Where I tried to do all five in the same style but failed.
Doodled Niall! Now all five are done!
Marilyn and Audrey. This is on my friend’s wall. I’ve never been prouder of my own work!!!
Doodle to match Harry, Liam and Zayn’s. Louis!
Art print of my painting of Marilyn Monroe, framed by Janet to be hung on her wall next to a painting of Audrey Hepburn I get so happy when people actually hang my art on their walls!
Tried to do the same style as the one of Harry but for some reason it’s not as dramatic.
I coloured using the brush I don’t usually use for colouring. He just looks very upset to me. But I like it?
Not my best work, but hey.
Ok, so I maybe I got a little lost. Barbara Palvin. And a whole lotta texture.
Working on a picture of Barbara Palvin. It’s insane, I’ve gone back to the way I originally started painting and I realised I never should’ve left it behind. So much fun!
Almost done. But I might not finish it for a time.
So. Jennifer Garner. Such a beauty.
Wanted to reply to this and offer some more explanation (for apartment22).
Here are my brush settings. So it’s just your regular hard round brush.
Something else. My flow setting (found in the top bar when you have the brush tool selected) is always set to 45%. The opacity setting (same area) was set at 80% for the top picture, and at 56% (or around there) during the detailing.
I thought you guys might enjoy a little inside look to how I work. The picture shows two different steps of the painting of Jennifer Garner I’m making. It’s the basic colour ‘lets fill everything up’ version at the top vs. the ‘lets start adding details’ version at the bottom.
Quite interestingly I’m using the most basic of brushes and I’m back to working with lower opacity brushes (which require a lot more layers of colours, think of watercolours vs. the amount of water you add).
This is how I started out in 2008. I forgot how great that method works. It takes a long time, but it does make it easier to manage photorealism.
Working on this. I have such a massive lady crush on Jennifer Garner. Jeez.
