Four days until the 1DThemeparkNL competition ends. I’m starting to really worry about my chances. There are now some really cute entries in the #1DThemeparkNL hashtag. (click to see all entries on twitter).
So I ask you once again, that if you like my entry and you think I deserve to win tickets to see 1D in Orlando, and possibly give them my art, you retweet my entry to keep it afloat.
My entry is here: on twitter and on instagram.
This closeup of the entry is of Zayn. Zayn is always a delight to paint. Add to that the awesome angle, best haircut, plaid (!) and perfect ear (!), and that makes him my favorite in this particular painting.
If you do not have twitter or instagram but still really like this painting and or think I deserve a shot to win this contest, please reblog this and spread the word. Most of you know my 1D history, so please help out!
Got a lovely little surprise in the mail today. A while ago someone saw my art of Sam Heughan as Jamie in Outlander. She e-mailed me asking if she could auction it off for charity and I agreed. Today I received this print of it (it looks very nice, sort of metallic), signed by Diana Gabaldon, the author of the Outlander books! So that’s cool! I’m a huge fan of the books!
Remember when I did these? Forever ago.
Portrait of Emma Watson. Tried some soft focus blending.
I don’t even know what I’m doing anymore. Help :(.
I realised I still haven’t uploaded the updated versions of these those in one post… so here.
Still not done. Ready to start crying…
Working on collage painting that I started way before 1D’s shows at Wembley, intending to finish it by that time but not managing.
Zayn and Harry are also in it but they’re in a greater state of unfinishedness.
The art that I failed to give to Zayn. Obviously. But the print is really good.
Posted this on twitter last night and it blew up, even though it’s only a doodle.
Finished! Sam Heughan as Jamie in Outlander.
