It’s been exactly one year since I got my Wacom Cintiq 24HD. Here are some of my fave paintings that I’ve done with it since then.
My 9 favourite paintings of 2012.
All of these are available (along with 24 others) exclusively in my 2012 artbook, of which there are only 14 left. These books are 65 dollars/50 euros/ 40 gbp and are signed, plus, you’ll get a handwritten message from me to you with them.
By buying one of them, you’ll help me finance my trip to the US this coming March/April.
Let me know if you want one by leaving me a message in my ask box.
All my supernatural related art. I added the years in which I made them, too. Just for reference, and to explain why some of them kinda suck. I’ll have you know though, that the Jensen Ackles painting I did in 2008, was, for a long time, my most favorited and commented upon (the latter, I think it still is) submission on DeviantArt.
Weee, someone suggested I turn my work in progress pictures into GIFS. Cute idea. Here’s Dean (Jensen Ackles).
I finetuned somewhat and figured you guys might enjoy seeing some details.
It’s done! Jensen Ackles as Dean Winchester as part of an art trade with the wonderful Eleanor, who is drawing Sam.
Still working on this as part of my art trade with my pallypal diluted-down.
I quadrupled my lineart so I could make out where the folds in his coat are supposed to be. And then I noticed that this gives it a very interesting look. Will probably hide the lineart when I decide it’s finished, though.
Work in progress 2 of my art-trade with diluted-down. Jensen Ackles as Dean Winchester.
Can I just say that I feel that my Wacom Cintiq 24HD has made me a better artist? Whether it’s a boost of confidence, or really true, I’m not sure, but who cares, right?
First work in progress picture of my art-trade with diluted-down (She’s drawing Sam Winchester/Jared Padalecki). This is Jensen Ackles. As Dean Winchester. Obviously. It’s so hard to get this to look like him, you have no idea!
Working on an art-trade with the lovely person behind diluted-down. She’s drawing Sam, I’m drawing Dean, because we both have all the Supernatural feels and she tricked me into drawing Jensen.
This is my sketch. Sorry, some things are darker than others because they took me more tries to get right.
And more Jensen. I’ll do new ones at some point. But I have to do my commissions first.
My Winchester brothers glorified sketch that I really really love.
