It’s happening. Fashionably late, but I’m working on a Jesse Eisenberg and Andrew Garfield art piece for the TSNversary.
When I get sad. There’s this. And then I feel a little better.
I actually met and talked to Jesse twice. I also met Justin Bartha (who is the loveliest person ever and spent over 10 minutes just looking at my art) and was too polite to meet Justin Long who was also there that night but was not working so I didn’t want to bother him (plus I hadn’t drawn him so I had nothing to give him or make him sign).
Now you see me
I saw this on Saturday. I feel obliged to do art now…
Aw, thank you so much! :) Meeting Jesse was nice and awkward both times, though the second time was considerably less awkward than the first, I suppose. I try to meet everyone I paint, and it’s super nice to do, but also super hard! Haha. I love a good challenge though.
The people who’ve seen their art
All the things. I’m done now.
Couple more photos of art and their people. Apparently the way to get Jesse to smile is to show him a portrait of his cousin. Haha. Looking good Eric. <3
Seriously though, I had the absolute best time in New York with these people. It’s funny what the internet can do for you. A big part of The Revisionist is about blood relations and whether that makes or breaks family. I can honestly say that for me, I don’t need blood to have a family. Everyone in NYC and NJ and now Boston has made my life so much more enjoyable. They really are my family.
