Look at this madness I got in the mail today! Recently I read through all of Der-shing Helmer’s The Meek, and was as captivated as when I read Bone for the first time. It was revelatory. Helmer and I had a mutual-admiration(!) conversation on DeviantArt, which totally bowled me over, and he offered to send me a signed copy of the first issue of The Meek. He even did me an amazing sketch of Angora, sproutin’ flora!

I showed my husband and he says, “Wow, you’re gonna want to keep that M.I.B.” And I was all “hell yeah” and then I had to Google that to see what it meant. But yes, this is going in my box of treasures!

I love the Meek! :D

Waaah. Also Lils, can we collab?
